6_ Using blog in classroom_

Today the technology has avanced a lot and it has expand to many areas. One of this areas is the education. In this area it’s using technology like television, videos and the internet. This last resource it’s use a lot and of many forms in the classroom, but ¿How this type of technology is used in the classroom? ¿Of what form it influences the learning process? ¿What advantages and disadvantages it produces?

In this essay I want to talk about of one of this kind of technology used in the classroom, I refer to the use of blog. I will begin talking about the technology and the uses of the blogs. Later, I will show some advantages and disadvantages of use a blog in classroom. Finally, I will present some conclusions about the topic.

The globalization it give many tools to teachers and students for working in the classroom. The use of blogs is one of them. The blog is a virtual space on the internet when you can post information about anything also you cant add pictures and videos to complement the information. More over any people can post a comment in your blog.

The use of blogs has been encourage in some class because its use has some advantages like help to do the class more didactic, let to close subjects not too much fun to the students through of content more close to the reality of the students. Specifically in the english class the use of a blog help to develop the skill of write in english.

Some disadvantages of the use of the blog in the classroom can be that some students don’t work in the blogs and open other pages in the internet distorting the objective of the activity.

In brief, the use of blogs in classroom has more aspects positives than negatives. This use can motivate the work with subjects that dislikes some students. For that I think that to implement blogs in the english class is a fun work that help to understand and practice this language.
